Film London – All Voices

UKTV and Film London’s Equal Access Network unveiled a new collaborative initiative aimed at securing employment within the TV industry for underrepresented groups. UKTV’s All Voices initiative will give new entrants, mid-level professionals and returners to the industry the opportunity to work in paid, full-time roles on UKTV Original productions. Each participant will be part of the initiative for up to 12 months, giving them the opportunity to work on multiple UKTV productions to increase their level of experience and help build their CV and network of contacts within the industry.

Film London – Breaking the Glass Ceiling

The leadership programme to support black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) mid-level professionals in the Film and TV industry. The programme, run by Film London’s Equal Access Network, is supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery through funds awarded from People’s Postcode Trust, Sony Pictures Entertainment, BBC Films and HBO.Breaking The Glass Ceiling is designed to not only help accelerate the career of the participants, but also provide them with the skills to support and develop others starting out in the industry, helping to retain crucial talent from entry and mid-level to senior and management roles.

Creative Sparkworks

We work with a wide range of talented young adults aged 18 – 30+ from under-represented groups who are passionate to start a career in the film and TV sector. We wedge open the door of opportunity for them with our free film courses, led by dedicated industry professionals who share their up to date expertise. Throughout the course, students are supported to gain evidence for professional showreels and CVs, and how to conduct themselves on live sets in preparation for paid work as location marshals and runners on feature films through our close associates FilmFixer and Film London’s ‘Equal Access Network Scheme’.

C4 Apprenticeships

We’re not looking for specific qualifications, but you will need to impress us with your passion for your chosen area and have the potential to stand out from the crowd. One department, 14-24 months, and a Level 3 or 4 qualification in a related subject at the end of it. You’ll learn who’s who, what’s what and where your department sits in the overall scheme of things. A range of in-depth projects will immerse you in the detail and count towards your qualification.
